Hartford Shooting Death Marks 8th Homicide of 2022: Report
A man was shot four times and killed Wednesday afternoon.
HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating following a homicide on Garden Street on Wednesday afternoon, according to FOX 61. Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the 600 block of Garden Street at 2:26 p.m.
Shortly after, police received a report that a car crashed into a home on the 200 block of Nelson Street.
The victim was walking to his car when a vehicle pulled up and he was shot four times. He then got into his car and crashed into the Nelson Street home.

The victim, Ryan McKain, 33, of Hartford, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. The death marks the city's eighth homicide this year, according to FOX 61.
