Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade Canceled Due To Virus Concerns
The city has announced that the parade will be canceled due to coronavirus concerns.
HARTFORD, CT — The Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Parade scheduled for Saturday, March 14 will be canceled due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus, WTNH reported. The news comes following Gov. Ned Lamont's announcement urging city leaders to cancel events of more than 100 people.
Other St. Patrick's Day parades around the state have been cancelled as well, including New Haven, Greater Bridgeport, and Milford.
The city is reviewing all large events and gatherings scheduled for the next month, The Hartford Courant reported.

Another date for the Hartford parade has not been set. The city is working with organizers to determine if it will be possible to hold the parade later in the year.
