Auditions for the Six-Week Summer Program will be held on Tuesday, May 14

Hartford, CT – Hartford Stage has announced that auditions for its summer Breakdancing Shakespeare program will be held Tuesday, May 14 at the Hartford Stage rehearsal studios, 942 Main Street., Hartford, CT. Those interested in auditioning can book a timeslot from 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are preferred.

The program runs June 17 through July 26, Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with performances July 26-28. Applicants must be between the ages of 16-21. For questions and to schedule an audition time, email npinchin@hartfordstage.org.

A key education program at Hartford Stage since 2006, Breakdancing Shakespeare is a paid 6-week summer program for students ages 16-21. Participants learn breakdancing and acting techniques, and use these skills to put a modern twist on a classic Shakespearean play.
