Hartford State Aid Cut $1.4 Million Under Latest Malloy Plan
Hartford's total state aid package would be cut 1 percent to slightly under $270 million for fiscal year 2019 under Malloy's plan

HARTFORD, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For Hartford , it would be a 1 percent cut from the previously approved $271.2 million total - to $269.8 million.
