Hartford Supermarket Fined For Liquor Control Violations
The market also will have its liquor license suspended for a day next month.
HARTFORD, CT — A local supermarket was recently fined and it will have its liquor permit suspended for a day next month after being cited for multiple liquor control violations.
According to the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission, J.R. Supermarket, 224 Capen St., Harford has been fined $750.
It will also be unable to sell liquor at its store on Monday, June 10.

According to the state, the market was cited for seven separate violations, among them: not properly posting prices; not recording permits; not having a permit hung in plain view; not having a permittee name sign; and other offenses related to paperwork.
