BLOOMFIELD (AP) — An 18-year-old from Hartford has died from injuries sustained in an accident following a police pursuit that stretched from the capital city to Bloomfield, the Record-Journal has reported.
Believing there was a gun in the car, police said Hartford detectives tried to to stop the teen's vehicle at about 7:15 a.m. Sunday, according to the story. The teen, Xavier Myers, did not stop on Blue Hills Avenue into Bloomfield, where he crashed into another vehicle, according to the story.
