Storm To Bring Heavy Rain, Strong Wind Gusts To Hartford/Tolland County

The National Weather Service released a timeline for when to expect the strongest impacts from this upcoming storm.

HARTFORD/TOLLAND COUNTY, CT — Over an inch of rain and strong wind gusts are forecast beginning late tonight and through the mid-morning hours on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be a relatively quiet day Monday, with some sun and more clouds as the day progresses and temperatures rising into the upper 50s. Late Monday, rain is forecast to begin, and it could add up to over an inch before it tapers off late Tuesday morning.

Wind gusts may approach 30 mph at times. Once the unsettled weather ends, it looks like a really nice weather week ahead, including the upcoming weekend.
