Hartford Traffic Alert: Near Sell Out Crowd at Xfinity Theater

Hartford, CT- Those traveling through parts of Hartford starting around 3 p.m. should expect significant delays due to traffic from the Florida George Line concert.

About 20,000 to 23,000 people are expected to attend the near sell out event, said Deputy Chief Brian Foley, Hartford Police spokesman.

"Inbound and outbound commuters departing or arriving in the Capital City between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm should expect to experience significant traffic congestion and are requested to plan accordingly," Foley said. "HPD Traffic Division will have extra officers on hand to assist with the commute."
