Hartford's Good Friday Holiday Impacts Announced
Friday is Good Friday, with many municipalities recognizing the holiday that is part of Easter weekend.
HARTFORD, CT — This weekend is another holiday weekend, with several Connecticut towns marking the Good Friday holiday as part of Easter weekend.
In Hartford, all city departments will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday.
This will also result in delays in trash collection in Hartford, according to the public works department.

All Hartford Public Library sites in the city are also closed on Friday, April 3, for Good Friday, as well as Sunday, April 5, for Easter Sunday.
Hartford Public Schools are also closed on Friday, April 3, with classes resuming as normal on Monday, April 6.
