HGMC to host first Gala Fundraising Event on June 8

HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT - The Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus (HGMC), will present its first gala fundraising event, HEART & HARMONY, on Saturday, June 8, at Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford. Proceeds from the event will benefit the HGMC’s community outreach activities and participation and performances at Pride events, including the annual GALA Festival in Minneapolis this July.

“We are excited to be hosting our first gala fundraiser event in partnership with Christ Church Cathedral,” said Robert Reader, Executive Director of the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus. “Ticket sales from HEART & HARMONY will help raise much-needed funds for the Chorus to participate in the upcoming GALA Festival in Minneapolis this July. There will be much to celebrate as we take to the GALA Festival stage after an extended break due to the pandemic.”

HEART & HARMONY will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, located at 45 Church Street, in Hartford, Connecticut, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Guests will enjoy a welcome reception, four-course buffet dinner, silent auction, and entertainment throughout the evening.
