Highway Offramp In Hartford Closed After Crash

HARTFORD, CT — An offramp from Interstate 84 in Hartford is closed Tuesday evening after an accident, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT said Exit 48B's offramp from I-84 east is shut down after the crash, which was reported at about 4:05 p.m.

It has caused delays in that area and backed up traffic about 0.8 miles, according to state officials.

DOT officials said it was "unknown" when the scene would be cleared.
