Hillary Clinton to Make Campaign Stop in Hartford
The Democratic presidential candidate will speak at the YMCA late Thursday morning.

HARTFORD, CT - Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has planned a campaign stop in Hartford late Thursday morning, during which she will meet with family members of gun violence victims, according to a statement from Hillary for America.
The former First Lady and U.S. Secretary of State will hold a discussion with family members of gun violence victims about her commitment to enact common sense gun safety measures as president. Participants will include family of victims of the Sandy Hook shooting, as well as family of victims of gun violence in other Connecticut cities.
Clinton has proposed commonsense steps to tackle gun violence in communities across the country, including enacting comprehensive background checks, ending immunity protections for irresponsible gun manufacturers and dealers which prevent victims’ families from holding them accountable, and keeping guns out of the hands of domestic abusers, other violent criminals and the severely mentally ill, the statement says.
