Hinckley Allen Welcomes New Associate Matthew Saunig to its Corporate & Business Practice

Hinckley Allen is pleased to welcome Matthew Saunig to its Corporate & Business practice. Matt was most recently Associate Counsel at Woodbridge Group of Companies, LLC.

Matt’s practice focuses on general corporate and transactional matters. He has experience counseling clients on federal and state banking as well as consumer financial services laws and regulations. Matt’s transactional experience includes conducting regulatory due diligence and drafting and negotiating agreements, including joint venture agreements, vendor contracts, and loan sale and servicing agreements. Matt has also advised clients on a broad spectrum of financial services regulatory compliance and marketing issues and has provided federal and state licensing guidance.

In 2016, Matt was a candidate for Connecticut State Representative. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. degree, cum laude, from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. During law school, Matt was a recipient of the Faculty Merit Scholarship Award and a member of the Catholic University Law Review, where he was the Lead Articles Editor.
