A minor burn injury was treated at the scene, and no hospital transport was required.

No firefighter injuries were reported.

Fire officials noted that heavy hoarding conditions inside the home impeded access and firefighting operations.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Hartford Fire Marshal’s Office.

The department’s Special Services Unit is working with the American Red Cross to assist any residents displaced by the fire.
