Hospital In Hartford Earns Major Nursing Honor

HARTFORD, CT — Saint Francis Hospital said earlier this month that it has earned a major honor regarding its nursing services.

Hospital officials said Saint Francis won a 2023 Human Experience National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators Award by Press Ganey, a global healthcare services firm.

This award is part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the top hospitals and health
systems in the country, according to performance in nursing quality in the category of academic medical center.

"Saint Francis is one of seven healthcare organizations nationally to be honored for providing outstanding nursing quality," reads a Saint Francis announcement.

“By recognizing Saint Francis Hospital, we celebrate their exemplary commitment to nursing quality and set a standard for excellence that resonates across our healthcare landscape,” said Patrick T. Ryan, chairman and chief executive officer of Press Ganey. “As one of seven organizations distinguished for nursing excellence, Saint Francis becomes a beacon, encouraging the adoption of best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in nursing quality.”
