How Hartford-Based High School Teams Are Faring This Fall

HARTFORD, CT — As the fall sports regular season begins to enter the homestretch, anticipation is building at Hartford-based high schools toward the goal of qualifying for CIAC tournament competition.

Four teams from the capital city have already locked up postseason berths, with 12 other squads still in contention for tournament spots.

Here is a look at the records for Hartford-based varsity teams through Oct. 15. Teams listed in bold print have already clinched a tournament spot; the number in parentheses signifies the number of regular season games remaining.
