Brawl Breaks Out In Hartford Courtroom
The fight was related to a murder case and judicial marshals used pepper spray in an attempt to assert control.
HARTFORD, CT — State police were called to a Hartford courthouse Monday afternoon when a "huge fight" broke out between two families, according to WTNH.
The fight was on the courthouse's second floor and involved "yelling and shouting."
The judge wouldn't let anyone from the courtroom go to the lobby and asked a woman with her baby "not to take the baby out there," WTNH reported.

The fight was related to the case of a Garden Street man accused of killing his girlfriend's former boyfriend, according to The Hartford Courant. Diomar Mendoza, 21, was charged with murder and carrying a pistol without a permit in the case.
He began arguing and fighting with friends and relatives of the victim in the case, Andre Keene, 21. The fight started in a courtroom and judicial marshals pushed the crowd out into the lobby, The Courant reported.
