I-84 Crash Cleared In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle wreck on Interstate 84 in Hartford caused traffic woes for motorists Tuesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 East between exits 44 and 46, with the left and center lanes of travel closed.

According to the DOT, the crash caused a 2.3-mile backup of traffic.

The accident was first reported at 2:46 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
