Update: Crash On I-84 In Hartford Cleared

HARTFORD, CT — Interstate 84 continued to be a trouble spot this morning, with a crash snarling traffic in Hartford at about the same time three others caused headaches in West Hartford.

That accident, however, has been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, I-84 west was impacted by a single-vehicle accident between exits 46 and 45.

This crash was reported at 8:47 a.m. with, as of the latest update at 8:50 a.m.

According to the DOT, the disabled vehicle was cleared at 9:43 a.m. near the Flatbush Avenue exit.

Three multi-vehicle wrecks on I-84 in West Hartford, including two on the eastbound side and one on the westbound side, have been cleared.
