Update: I-84 Ramp Crash Involving School Bus Prompts Lane Closure

EAST HARTFORD, CT — One of an exit ramp's lanes on Interstate 84 is closed Monday afternoon following a serious accident involving a school bus, state Department of Transportation officials said.

According to the DOT, I-84 west's Exit 57 to Route 15 South's ramp was shut down to traffic, but now it has reopened with a lane closed.

DOT officials said the crash was reported at 1:41 p.m. and it was "unknown" when the crash will be cleared.

As of 2:58 p.m., however, one lane was reported closed by the DOT after the crash, which reportedly involved a school bus and no injuries.
