Interstate Shut Down After Crash In Hartford: DOT

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic is backed up on Interstate 91 in Hartford on Wednesday morning due to a crash, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-91 South between exits 30 and 29A, resulting in the closure of the highway.

The wreck was first reported at 5:56 a.m., and it is "unknown" when the scene will be cleared.
