Learn Practical Parenting Skills at Free Conference

It's said that parenting is the hardest job you'll ever love. We're here to remind you that you're not alone!

Parents and other caregivers are invited to attend a free parenting conference, Celebrate Your Family: Spend a Day Learning and Having Fun! on Saturday, May 14, 9:00am-2:00pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

Sponsored by KIDSAFE CT, an affiliate of The Village for Families & Children and the SBM Charitable Foundation, this is an opportunity to learn practical parenting skills, form connections with other parents and find out about valuable resources to help on the journey of parenthood.

Keynote speaker Dr. Laura Markham will present on how to connect with your children and help them manage their emotions. Markham received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Columbia University, has written several parenting books, and is the founding editor of AhaParenting.com.
