A Look at Hartford's Scholastic Winter Sports Title History

HARTFORD, CT — As practices for high school winter sports officially get underway Monday (girls basketball and wrestling) and next Saturday (boys basketball, ice hockey, indoor track, boys swimming and girls gymnastics), hopes run high for all teams to achieve the ultimate goal: winning a state championship.

To help squads get into the championship mentality, here is a listing of the 50 CIAC winter team titles won by Hartford-based high schools in past years, including the now-defunct South Catholic High School (* - indicates a co-op team).
