Major Company To Relocate Offices To Downtown Hartford

A financial services firm will move its offices to Hartford, bringing 300 employees to downtown.

WINDSOR, CT — Sun Life Financial, a global financial services firm, will move its office from Windsor to Hartford, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Three hundred of its employees will move to the Gold Building, occupying 47,000 square feet of the downtown Hartford building.

Once at full capacity, 450 employees will work out of the new location. The company will begin office design work in early 2002 and take occupancy in September 2022.

The news comes as numerous other companies have hesitated to return to their downtown office space.
