“The Hartford has a proud history of supporting the city of Hartford, which we’ve called home for 213 years,” said Stephanie Bush, head of small commercial and personal lines insurance.
This year’s event will highlight a mix of new and returning vendors, including some that have received national recognition, along with many “new to the scene” restaurants.
In addition, the event will also feature two sound stages with a wide range of musical acts and live art demonstrations, highlighting the diversity of culture in our capital region.
“After a successful launch last year, we’re thrilled to announce the return of Hartford Taste,” said Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin. “On June 9 and 10, Hartford Taste will help kick off a summer season packed with events here in Downtown Hartford."
“We are beyond excited to bring back Hartford Taste,” announced Marc Sherer, founder of the event. “This year is going to be even bigger with more restaurants, more music, and more artists and we hope everyone brings their friends, family and colleagues to enjoy Hartford."
This year’s event will run from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 9, and Saturday, June 10, and is open to the public with free admission.
Proceeds from Hartford Taste will benefit Connecticut Foodshare.
