I-84 Wreck In Hartford Cleared: Update

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was backed up Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 84 in Hartford after a two-vehicle accident, according to the state Department of Transportation, but the accident has now been cleared.

The DOT reports the crash happened on I-84 westbound between exits 48 and 47, resulting in the two right lanes being closed.

This had resulted in a 1.2-mile traffic jam between exits 54 and 47, according to the DOT.

The accidcent was first reported at 1:15 p.m. and it was deemed "cleared" by the DOT at 2:03 p.m.
