Male, 19, Shot And Killed In Hartford: Police
Hartford police are investigating the fatal shooting and are asking for the public's assistance.
HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that killed a 19-year-old male on Monday afternoon in the city’s North End.
Officers responded at approximately 3:19 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, to a report of shots fired in the rear lot of 4 Barbour St., police said.
When they arrived, they found an unresponsive male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim as Calcius Hales Jr., 19, of Edgewood Street, Hartford.

The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
