Man, 29, Dead In Hartford Shooting

HARTFORD, CT — City police are currently investigating another fatal shooting in Hartford after one late Friday night claimed the life of a 29-year-old local man.

According to WVIT Channel 30, Hartford police have identified the victim as being Denzel Bell, 29, of Hartford.

Following a call to Westland Street at about 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, the shooting victim was found unresponsive inside a car, WVIT reported.

Fox 61 reported that two other people, a female in her 40s and a male in his 30s, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions were called and they are still probing the incident.

Hartford has been hit with several shootings and fatal shootings this year, especially over the summer.
