Man, 39, Shot And Killed In Hartford: Reports

HARTFORD, CT — City police are investigating a fatal shooting late Sunday night that claimed the life of a Hartford man.

According to WFSB Channel 3, the victim has been identified as 39-year-old Jose Jesus Cortez, who was rushed to Saint Francis Hospital and, later, pronounced dead.

The incident happened on Cabot Street at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday, according to WVIT Channel 30, with reports of a man inside a vehicle shot several times.

Police are still investigating the incident.
