Man Killed Wednesday In Yet Another Hartford Shooting

The incident was the third in a week and represents the 36th killing of 2022.

HARTFORD, CT — Another day, another gun-related homicide for Hartford police to investigate, according to multiple reports.

WFSB Channel 3 is reporting that 46-year-old Lamonte Brown of Hartford was shot and killed Wednesday night near Main and Capen streets.

It was the third such homicide in a week in Connecticut's capital city.

According to WTNH Channel 8, the incident — which started after an argument broke out among three people — was captured on a city surveillance camera and police are using footage in their investigation.

This, reportedly, is the city's 36th homicide of 2022.
