Man Rushed To Hospital After Hartford Shooting: Police
Police responded to a report of a shooting at about 6:23 p.m. Sunday.
HARTFORD, CT — A man was rushed to the hospital Sunday evening after being shot on Nelson Street in Hartford.
According to the Hartford Police Department, units were called to the area of 175 Nelson St. at about 6:23 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
"Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim," wrote the HPD.

"The victim, a male in his 40s, was alert and conscious on scene and was transported to an area hospital for treatment."
The Hartford Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division responded and assumed control of the investigation, which is active and ongoing.
