Man Shot In Hartford Critically Injured: Reports

The shooting happened early Tuesday morning and also resulted in another young man being sent to the hospital.

HARTFORD, CT — Two young men were shot in Hartford early Tuesday morning, with one critically injured, according to multiple reports.

WVIT Channel 30 said the shooting happened at about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday on Franklin Avenue.

Citing the Hartford Police Department, WVIT reports that after reports of the shooting, police arrived to the scene to find a vehicle crashed into a building's porch.

According to WTNH Channel 8, the driver of the vehicle was a man in his 20s who is in critical condition.

Another young man involved in the shooting, reports WTNH, has also been hospitalized for "non-life-threatening" injuries.
