Man Shot By Police In Hartford: Reports
The state Office of the Inspector General is investigating the incident, which happened Saturday night.
HARTFORD, CT — A male police suspect in his 40s was critically injured in an officer-involved shooting Saturday night, according to media reports.
Citing the Hartford Police Department, WVIT Channel 30 said the shooting was on Broad Street at about 8:15 p.m., with the suspect being struck by an HPD officer.
WVIT said the man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

According to WFSB Channel 3, the gun was recovered at the scene and the state Office of the Inspector General is investigating the incident.
Police did not disclose the nature of the incident Saturday night.
