Developers are working on plans to turn the Parkville neighborhood into a hub for advanced manufacturing startups.

HARTFORD, CT — Developers are working on a plan to make Hartford's Parkville neighborhood into a hub for advanced manufacturing startups, according to The Hartford Business Journal. New Britain-based Stanley Black & Decker and developer Carlos Mouta are working on the project.

One of Mouta's buildings on Hamilton Street is being considered for the startup hub. A Black & Decker official said the project will build off Gov. Ned Lamont’s initiative to promote advanced manufacturing.

The plan is still coming together and may not be revealed until the spring. Read the full story in The Hartford Business Journal.
