Mass Layoffs At Hartford Drone Manufacturer
A downtown manufacturer laid off nearly half its workforce last week.

HARTFORD, CT — Aquiline Drones has laid off nearly half of its workforce in downtown Hartford, according to The Hartford Courant. Thirty-three people were laid off Thursday, with 43 full-time employees remaining.
A company official said there is "a manufacturing crisis" in the country right now due to delayed cargo ships not being able to bring supplies and goods into the country. On top of that, industry experts said there's also been a spike in the cost of materials.
