Hartford Crash Cleared On I-84: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was backed up in Hartford early Tuesday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 84, but it is now cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash was on I-84 West between exits 47 and 46.

This had resulted in the left lane being closed, as well as a 2.4-mile traffic jam between exits 54 and 46, the DOT reported.

The accident was first reported at 12:28 p.. and it is now no longer on the DOT's incident report list.
