GREATER HARTFORD, CT — Just weeks after announcing its move from southern New Hampshire to Hartford County, the Hartford Shockers of the East Coast Basketball League (ECBL) have announced a pair of upcoming events: tryouts for players interested in joining the minor league team, and youth clinics for players in grades 5-12.

Player Tryouts

A series of player tryouts will be conducted at The Court, 1 Peerless Way, Enfield. Since players in the ECBL generally play close to home, up to 14 spots on the roster may be available. Shockers owner/coach Donovin Ford-Hayes said 3-5 player contracts will be offered directly from tryouts, while others will be invited to training camp for their chance at a final roster spot.
