Missing 17-Year-Old Male Sought In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — City police are looking for a missing 17-year-old male from Hartford, according to a Silver Alert issued early Tuesday morning.

According to the alert, sent out at 5:10 a.m., Hartford police are looking for Daniel Mercado-Ortiz, 17, who is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said she stands 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, checkered red pants and black Crocs, according to the alert.
