HARTFORD, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from Hartford, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced Michael Masser and Imani-Ashleigh Watkis of Hartford have qualified for the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned a cumulative 12 credits over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.
• The 46th Commencement of Tunxis Community College was held on May 25 in the College’s courtyard.A total of 307 graduates were conferred associate degrees and certificates. Those who were conferred degrees in December 2016 were also recognized at the ceremony. Graduates from Hartford are Wanda Henriquez, A.S. Business Office Technology: Medical Option, CERT Health Information Technology; Ahmed Ramic, A.S. Dental Hygiene; Jonelle Ricketts, A.S. Criminal Justice; and Genesis Rivera, A.S. Criminal Justice.
