Motorcycle Operator Dies in Crash at Keney Park
The fatal motorcycle crash took place at Hartford's Keney Park on Sunday, police said.
HARTFORD, CT — Police said they are investigating a Sunday motorcycle crash at Keney Park that claimed the life of a Bristol man.
The crash took place near the Ridgefield Street entrance to the park and the initial call came in at 6:41 p.m., Hartford police said.
When officers arrived, they found the operator of the motorcycle, identified on Monday morning as Michael Kowalski 46, of Bristol, unresponsive.

He was taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center and was pronounced dead at 7:12 p.m., police said.
A preliminary investigation shows that the bike left the road and stuck a wooden guardrail, police said. Police were investigating the crash through the night.
