Multi-Vehicle Accident Cleared In Hartford: Update

HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle wreck on Interstate 91 in Hartford briefly caused a traffic mess Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it was cleared quickly.

The accident occurred on Interstate 91 southbound between exits 33 and 32, according to the DOT.

This had resulted in the temporary closure of the left lane, state officials said.

The accident was reported at 3:04 p.m., but as of 3:12 p.m., the DOT reported the crash cleared, according to its Twitter feed.
