Multi-Vehicle Crash Cleared On I-91 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — Traffic was backed up on Interstate 91 in Hartford after a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation, but the crash has since been cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-91 South between exits 34 and 33, resulting in three lanes of travel being closed.

Because of this, trafficwas backed up nearly 2 miles, according to the DOT.

The wreck was first reported at 2:59 p.m. and it is now no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
