Multi-Vehicle Wreck Cleared On I-84 In Hartford: UPDATE

HARTFORD, CT — A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 in Hartford Thursday afternoon caused traffic problems for motorists, according to the state Department of Transportation, but it is now cleared.

The DOT reports the accident was on I-84 West between exits 50 and 48, resulting in the two right lanes being closed.

The crash had caused a 1.6-mile traffic jam back to Exit 56, according to the DOT.

The accident was first reported at 3:06 p.m. and by 3:40 p.m. it was no longer listed on the DOT's incident report.
