The Grand Opening of the Museum of the Battle of Iwo Jima was February 28th during the 81st Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. There were many visitors including people from groups out of state like Rick Tucker - Baker Co. 21st Marines, 3rd Marine Division reenactor,
Mel Bloom - 350 Girls, Flight Nurse, Iwo Jima and Scott Fisher - WWII Collector and Historian

The museum is located within the World War II Legacy Foundation Museum, Research & Education Center located at 102 Pitkin Street, East Hartford, CT. Click Here For Their Website!
