New Country BMW Rolls Out Red Carpet at Grand Opening Celebration

Dealer Unveils $6.5 Million Showroom with Luxury Lounge, Coffee Bar & New Models

As Connecticut’s premier BMW dealership, New Country BMW prides itself on providing customers with the ultimate luxury vehicles. Now the Hartford auto dealer has unveiled the ultimate showroom after completing construction of a new $6.5 million sales and service center. The elegant grand opening celebration on October 24th reflected the classic style of the BMW brand, complete with a huge glistening ice sculpture of the iconic logo. A musical jazz quartet provided the evening’s entertainment.

More than 300 valued customers, guests, VIPS and BMW executives were treated to an incredible array of food from a full raw bar with oysters, Italian meats and cheeses, passed hors d’oeuvres and a decadent dessert and espresso station featured tiramisu and macaroons. Servers from DORO Catering and Events circulated with cocktails and appetizers, while attendees feasted their eyes on the debut 2019 BMW models including the all new BMW X5 and BMW i8 Roadster in the expanded 39,000 square-foot building.

"Since New Country opened 23 years ago, BMW has added an impressive number of new models that we needed additional space to properly display," said Tim Parker, Vice President of New Country Motor Cars of Hartford. “As our customer base has increased accordingly, adding 3 lanes to our service welcome area will make it much more convenient.”

Parker notes that while customers are waiting for their cars to be serviced, they will be able to relax in the sleek and stylish waiting area, or at the new Isetta Coffee Bar. The Isetta was the unconventional, egg-shaped BMW design that is said to be the very best micro-car of its time since it debuted in 1953. Lose this. Visitors can also peruse the extensive retail store display of BMW lifestyle accessories and clothing.

“As a designated 2014 Center for Excellence by BMW of North America, we hold ourselves to the highest of standards when it comes to providing the best customer service in Connecticut,” said Parker, “This renovation and expansion will ensure an impeccable experience for our customers.”
