New Doctor Named For Trinity Health of New England Medical Group
Dr. Whitney A. Young joins the team.
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group: Whitney A. Young, M.D. has joined Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group at Saint Francis Hospital as a breast surgeon for the Karl J. Krapek, Sr. Comprehensive Women’s Health Center.
Dr. Young acquired her medical degree from University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. She completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University in Providence, RI in general surgery. She then completed fellowship training at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in breast surgical oncology. Dr. Young’s clinical interests include: inflammatory breast cancer, breast cancer in pregnancy and hereditary breast cancer, screening and prevention of breast cancer in at-risk patients, breast conservation, skin- and nipple/areolar-sparing mastectomy, benign breast disease, nipple discharge, breast pain.
