Update: Hartford Fatal Crash Victim Identified

Reports: The two-car, head-on collision happened at busy intersection. Victim was a 33-year-old man.

HARTFORD, CT — A reported head-on accident in Hartford this morning has claimed the life of one person, multiple reports indicate.

Police told WFSB Channel 3 the name of the man killed is Jermal McCall of Hartford. The driver of the other vehicle was badly injured as was a passenger in McCall's vehicle, WFSB Channel 3 reported.

According to a Fox 61 news reporter, the crash was in the area of Zion Street as well as New Britain and Fairfield avenues.

Two vehicles were badly damaged and the intersection of New Britain and Fairfield was closed, reported WFSB Channel 3.
