One Dead, Several Others Revived in Hartford Overdose Cases
At least two incidents involving use of Narcan by first responders were reported late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

HARTFORD, CT — One man is dead and two others were revived via use of Narcan in a triple overdose incident Tuesday evening in Hartford.
A police report said officers responded to an apartment at 77 Green St. around 6:40 p.m., where three males were found unresponsive. Hartford fire and EMS personnel administered a dose of Narcan to each man, with two responding.
The man who did not respond to Narcan administration was pronounced dead less than an hour later at St. Francis Hospital. The other two men were also transported to the hospital, the report states.

An investigation is ongoing involving Hartford police detectives and the major crime squad.
Several hours later, shortly after 2 a.m., another apparent overdose was reported on Broad Street, where police found a man lying in the street with a needle in his arm. He was transported to Hartford Hospital, where is is said to be in stable condition, a police report says.
