Many high school squads kick off their regular season schedules on Thursday or Friday.
GREATER HARTFORD, CT — High school sports practices have been ongoing for nearly two weeks and many preseason scrimmages have been played, but the real deal begins near the end of this week - opening day of the regular season for many varsity teams.
