Passersby Help Woman Trapped Under Car
Police are thanking a group of citizens who helped a woman trapped under a car.
EAST HARTFORD — Police are thankful to a group of citizens in East Hartford who help a woman who was partially trapped beneath her car following a Monday morning accident. The Journal-Inquirer reported that investigators said one of the woman's legs was pinned beneath the vehicle.
The group of about five or six passersby helped a police officer lift the vehicle off the woman.
The woman's car had collided with a pickup truck towing a tractor-trailer at the intersection of School and Goodwin streets, according to The Journal-Inquirer. When the woman got out of her car following the minor collision, the vehicle rolled onto her leg.

She is being treated for minor injuries.
